Box-im プライバシーポリシー
Box-im（以下「本アプリ」）は、BOX合同会社（以下「当社」）が提供する macOS / iOS / iPadOS 向けのメールアプリです。本アプリはお客様のデータを非公開に保つよう設計されています。当社はお客様のメールや認証情報を収集・保存せず、アクセスすることもできません。
1. 本アプリが端末内に保存する情報
本アプリは次の情報を、お使いの端末の中にのみ保存します。
- メール（本文・添付ファイル・差出人や宛先などのヘッダー情報）。IMAP でお客様のメールサーバーから取得し、表示と検索のために端末内に保持します。保持期間は設定で変更できます。
- 認証情報（アプリパスワード、または Google の OAuth トークン）。端末のキーチェーンに保存します。当社に送信されることはありません。
- 設定（アカウント一覧、差出人エイリアス、署名、テンプレート、振り分けルール、スマートフォルダ、スヌーズ）。
2. iCloud による設定の同期
iCloud にサインインしている場合、上記の設定のみを、お客様ご自身の iCloud（プライベートデータベース）を通じて、お客様ご自身の端末間で同期します。メールの内容・添付ファイル・パスワード・トークンは同期の対象に含めません。当社はこの iCloud データにアクセスできません。
3. 当社が収集する情報
ありません。本アプリには解析ツール、広告、トラッキング、サードパーティ製 SDK は含まれていません。アカウントの作成や当社への登録も不要です。
4. Google アカウント（Gmail / Google Workspace）を利用する場合
「Google でログイン」を選ぶと、本アプリは Google の OAuth 2.0 を通じて次の権限を求めます。

この権限で取得した情報（メール、メールアドレス、名前、トークン）は、お使いの端末内でメールを送受信・整理する目的にのみ使用します。本アプリはお客様の端末から Google のメールサーバーに直接接続し、当社のサーバーを経由しません。当社が Google ユーザーデータを受け取る・保存する・第三者に提供することはありません。人間がデータを閲覧することもありません。
本アプリによる Google API から取得した情報の利用と他のアプリへの転送は、Google API サービスのユーザーデータに関するポリシー（限定使用の要件を含む）に従います。
アクセスはいつでも取り消せます。本アプリからアカウントを削除するか、Google アカウントの「サードパーティ製のアプリとサービス」から本アプリのアクセスを削除してください。
5. メールサーバーとの通信
本アプリは、お客様が設定したメールサーバー（Google、Apple、Yahoo、またはその他の IMAP / SMTP サーバー）と、暗号化された接続（TLS）で直接通信します。通信の相手はお客様のメールプロバイダーだけです。
6. 第三者への提供
当社はいかなるデータも収集しないため、販売・貸与・共有も行いません。
7. アプリ内課金
アプリ内課金を提供する場合、決済は Apple の App Store が処理します。Apple から当社に提供されるのは集計済みの売上情報のみで、お客様の氏名・支払い情報・個人を特定できる情報は当社に渡りません。
8. お子様について
本アプリは、お子様を含むいかなる利用者からも個人情報を収集しません。
9. お客様による管理と削除
本アプリ内でアカウントを削除すると、そのアカウントのメール・認証情報・設定は端末から削除されます。本アプリをアンインストールし、iCloud 上の本アプリのデータを消去すると、Apple の同期用ストレージからも削除されます。メールサーバー上のメールには影響しません。
10. 本ポリシーの変更
本ポリシーを変更する場合は、新しい発効日とともに本ページに更新版を掲載します。

Box-im (“the app”) is a native mail client for macOS, iOS and iPadOS developed by BOX LLC (“we”). The app is designed to keep your data private. We do not collect, store, or have access to your mail or credentials.
What the app stores on your device
- Mail (bodies, attachments, headers) fetched from your mail server over IMAP, kept locally for display and search. The retention period is configurable.
- Credentials (app passwords or Google OAuth tokens) in your device’s keychain. They are never sent to us.
- Settings (accounts, sender aliases, signatures, templates, rules, smart folders, snoozes).
iCloud sync
If you are signed in to iCloud, only your settings are synchronized between your own devices through your own iCloud private database. Mail content, attachments, passwords and tokens are never synchronized. We cannot access this iCloud data.
What we collect
Nothing. The app contains no analytics, no advertising, no tracking and no third-party SDKs. There is no account to create with us.
Google user data (Gmail / Google Workspace)
When you choose “Sign in with Google”, the app requests the scope https://mail.google.com/ (required to read, send and organize mail over IMAP/SMTP) and your email address and name (to label the account in the app).
Information obtained through these scopes (mail, email address, name, tokens) is used solely to send, receive and organize your mail on your device. The app connects directly from your device to Google’s mail servers; no server operated by us is involved. We do not receive, store, share, sell or allow humans to read your Google user data.
Box-im’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
You can revoke access at any time by removing the account in the app or from your Google Account’s third-party access settings.
Mail server connections
The app communicates directly with the mail servers you configure (Google, Apple, Yahoo or any IMAP/SMTP server) over encrypted (TLS) connections. Your mail provider is the only party the app talks to.
Data sharing, purchases, children
We do not sell, rent or share any data, because we do not collect any. In-app purchases, if offered, are processed entirely by Apple’s App Store; we receive only aggregated, non-personal sales data. The app does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Your control
Deleting an account in the app removes its mail, credentials and settings from your device. Uninstalling the app and clearing its iCloud data removes it from Apple’s sync storage. Mail on your mail server is not affected.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new effective date.
